G0Flight mission dedicated to parabolic flights!

On 24 May, the G0Flight mission organised by QBT Sagl took place at Valbrembo airport, dedicated to parabolic flights with the participation of the "analogue astronauts" of the Asclepios IV project.

The objective, which was achieved with excellent results, was to train the analogue astronauts in the effects of microgravity in a small environment, typical of space capsules. In addition, it was possible to carry out scientific experiments in reduced gravity conditions with the exaggerated timing typical of aerospace activities.
Reduced gravity is achieved by means of a parabolic trajectory, during which near-zero gravity values are reached for about eight seconds.
Also taking part in the mission were students from Campus Ludes, engaged in research related to the psychological effects of being in space, as well as delegates from the University of Naples Federico II, with two important experiments.

We would like to thank Cantor Air IT.ATO.0004, for providing the I-ELLY C182 aircraft, and all the staff at the AVA Valbrembo airport for their impeccable hospitality and cooperation.
